Lewis is a biotech leader with over a decade of experience in biopharma working in discovery research and translational sciences, working across inflammation and immunology, oncology, and cardiometabolic diseases. At Paratus, Lewis oversees operations and R&D at the Singapore site and serves as Discovery lead for Inflammation and Immunology (I&I), supporting target identification through to IND-enabling studies. Most recently, Lewis was Director of Biomarker and Target Sciences at MSD Singapore (known as Merck in the U.S. and Canada), where he helped to establish a translational oncology research hub and led a team that supported target identification and preclinical/clinical biomarker projects across multiple therapeutic areas. Lewis holds a B.S. in bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Ph.D. in genetics from Stanford University.
